MDCF, a UK based charity, has dedicated its efforts to support the Charitable Hospital, Kheda, Gujarat, India.
This charitable hospital is based in Sokhada, Kheda, Gujarat, India. The hospital is managed by a local team of trustees, with the appropriate skill mix. This is a non-profit health-care facility in the developing world. In recent years, the project has grown from a small outfit to the current hospital with expanding services and upgrading their facilities. The expansion programme has emphasised the introduction of new diagnostic services and the raising of the quality of care to international standards.
Established in 2004, the Shree Meladi Maa Super Speciality Hospital trust has developed the facility with the objective eventually of having 110-bed acute care, a multi-speciality facility offering quality health care.
This year we are focussing our efforts to raising money to obtain an MRI diagnostic machine to support the hospital. We really do value every single donation.

MDCF PATRON’s MRI APPEAL 2018/2019
It is my great honour and privilege to continue with my Patrons MRI Appeal for the UK based MDCF charity.
MDCF are fundraising to obtain an MRI diagnostic machine to support an outstanding charitable hospital project in rural India.
The Hospital treats the poorest children and adults in the surrounding area. To date, 70,000 patients have been seen over a period of 6 years.
A large number of these patients need MRI scanning to assist in the accurate diagnosing of head injuries, cancers and spinal injuries.
Currently, they are having to turn away seriously ill patients and send them to other hospitals for MRI scans. The journey to the nearest hospital performing MRI is expensive and medically hazardous. Most patients cannot afford the journey or the MRI scan and as a result, become much more seriously ill.
MDCF and I are trying to improve the medical care of these desperately ill people.
Please help and donate with an open heart.
Our target is £400,017. We can do it.

The Grange Hotel
Sky Bar Event
Total raised: £10,070
Our biggest event of 2018 was our Sky Bar Event at The Grange Hotel, which overlooked St. Paul's Cathedral. It was a fantastic event and we raised a phenomenal amount of money for the charity. Our clients participated in a silent charity auction and walked away with amazing prizes, all for a great cause. We would like to thank everyone who attended the event for their generous donations. We were so pleased with the result.
Office Warming Raffle
Total raised: £300
The Leith Planning Group relocated to their new head offices in Kirkham, prior to Christmas 2018. This was a fantastic move forward for the team and to commemorate the event, we held an office warming party in January 2019. The event was incredibly successful, as was our charity raffle for the MDCF, with the prizes being one of three exquisite high-end hampers.
Congratulations to our winners:
Total raised: £1,185
Six members of the Leith Planning team participated in the Tough Mudder half marathon to raise funds for MDCF.

Our Executive Chairman, Chris Plenderleith, alongside his daughter Alice Plenderleith and Dave Nicholls of Dave Nicholls Electrical went on a charity bike ride in Summer 2018. The trio cycled from Carlisle to Keswick and then back to Kendal on a 77.6 mile round trip over two days. Luckily the sunshine helped them through their journey! Well done team!
Total raised: £1,000
Our Executive Coach, Johanna Lucketti hosted monthly meditation sessions across the year (2018) and donated all ticket sales to the MDCF Charity, raising a grand total of £1,000. As always, Johanna is an exceptional asset to Leith Planning and we thank her for her contribution to the MDCF.
